Designed for RACING VEHICLES on RACE TRACKS. Two holes for extra clearance. Made with 5/16″ Mild Steel, black powder coated for added durability. 5″ long, measured from center of spring eye to bottom of plate.
IMPORTANT: INCLUDE YEAR, MAKE AND MODEL IN THE CUSTOMER NOTES SECTION SO WE MAY VERIFY THE CORRECT PARTS ARE SENT.
NOTE: It is recommended that you begin using the hole that allows the traction bars to be most parallel to the ground when your vehicle is fully loaded, weight on tires. Adjust according to how your vehicle responds and your desired level of hook.

3.25″ axle diameter x 7″ long, axle ABOVE springs
Round U-bolts, zinc plated Grade 5 material, 1/2″ diameter, kits include 4 U-bolts, with nuts and washers.
NOTE: While you can use your vehicle’s stock ubolts with CalTracs, Calvert Racing’s 1/2″ diameter u-bolts is an upgrade as most stock applications come with 7/16″ diameter u-bolts. We recommend torqueing the u-bolts to 65-70 foot lbs. After running the vehicle down the track a few times, we also recommending checking the u-bolts and readjusting if necessary. SET OF FOUR LOW PROFILE PLATES (two for each side)
LOW PROFILE STANDARD PLATES for CalTracs. Low profile is used primarily for street driving and allows an extra 1.5″ ground clearance compared with drag profile plates. 3.5″ long, measured from center of spring eye to bottom of plate.; allows an extra 1.5″ ground clearance than racing profile plates.
