SQUARE U-BOLTS (spring OVER axle): Calvert Racing’s square u-bolts are 9/16″ ” diameter. We recommend torqueing truck/square u-bolts to 90-100 foot lbs. 2.5″ axle diameter x 7″ long LIMITED SUPPLY
Round U-bolts, Grade 5 steel, rust resistant coating, 1/2″ diameter. Sets include 4 U-bolts, with nuts and washers.
NOTE: While you can use your vehicle’s stock ubolts with CalTracs, Calvert Racing’s 1/2″ diameter u-bolts is an upgrade as most stock applications come with 7/16″ diameter u-bolts. We recommend torqueing the u-bolts to 65-70 foot lbs. After running the vehicle down the track a few times, we also recommending checking the u-bolts and readjusting if necessary. To get the most out of your CalTracs, we recommend that your installed CalTracs bars are close to parallel to the ground when fully loaded. Sometimes that configuration is difficult to achieve depending on the mods or equipment you have installed on your drag race car. CalTracs MX helps solve that!

Full CalTracs MX kits for cars feature our new MX 3-Hole Adjustable Rear Mounts, MX 4-Hole Adjustment Pivot Plates, and upgraded 9/16” bolt pivot hardware, these kits offer up to TWELVE adjustment settings (compared to two hole adjustable settings in Standard Drag Profile kits) to allow for fine tuning your CalTracs for the best HOOK possible on your racecar. Our new MX rear mount and MX pivot plate designs keep the overall CalTracs assembly set-up above the tire rim line on 15” wheels for track competition compliance and safety, just 1/2” longer than our Standard Drag Profile CalTracs.

NEW! SET OF FOUR MX ADJUSTABLE PIVOT PLATES, FOUR HOLES, center spring eye, INCLUDES HARDWARE. Designed to replace your current CalTracs Pivot Plates.
Engineered to provide MAXIMUM ADJUSTABILITY for drag race cars and small trucks. Only 1/2″ longer than our standard drag profile, these plates were designed with smaller holes set closer together which allows closer to parallel baseline adjustments without sacrificing ground clearance or strength.
