We recommend torqueing the u-bolts to 65-70 foot lbs. After running the vehicle down the track a few times, we also recommending checking the u-bolts and readjusting if necessary. 3″ Axle Perch/pair (HDP-300)
SPRING PERCHES FOR 3″ AXLE TUBE

WELDING ONTO AXLE: Pinion angle recommendation is -2 to -4 degrees when used with CalTracs. NOTE: This is the angle of the pinion in relation to the angle of the output shaft of the transmission, NOT the driveshaft. Add the angle of the pinion yoke to the angle of the output shaft with the vehicle sitting at rest with weight on the tires.
