SET OF FOUR ROUND U-BOLTS w/hardware
2.5″ axle diameter x 6″ long
Round U-bolts, Grade 5 steel, rust resistant coating, 1/2″ diameter. Sets include 4 U-bolts, with nuts and washers.
NOTE: While you can use your vehicle’s stock ubolts with CalTracs, Calvert Racing’s 1/2″ diameter u-bolts is an upgrade as most stock applications come with 7/16″ diameter u-bolts. We recommend torqueing the u-bolts to 65-70 foot lbs. After running the vehicle down the track a few times, we also recommending checking the u-bolts and readjusting if necessary. Square U-bolts, Grade 5 material, zinc plated, 5/16″ diameter. Set includes 4 U-bolts, plates, nuts and washers.
Calvert Racing’s square u-bolts are 9/16″ ” diameter. We recommend torqueing truck/square u-bolts to 90-100 foot lbs. After running the vehicle down the track a few times, we also recommending checking the u-bolts and readjusting if necessary. Please see FEQ page or CalTracs Installation Guide for more info.
