TIE DOWN BRACKETS FOR Series 2500-3500 TRUCKS – SET OF TWO (90 degree angle)

3/8″ Zinc-Plated Steel, 90 degree angle. Overall size: 6-1/4″ wide” x 3″ tall; Hole is 1-3/8″ diameter. Manufactured in USA by Calvert Racing.

MT-2501 (3.25″ Axle Truck)

MT-2502 (3.5″ Axle Truck)

MT-2503 (3.5″ Axle Truck with 3″ wide springs)

MT-2504 (Ram 2500/3500: 4″ Axle, 3″ spring)

One of the little annoyances many racers have is finding a place on their race car to tie it down onto a trailer or hauler without damaging the car and having to crawl under to find a spot for a strap/hook to load/unload/load again after a long day racing….

Secure your vehicle to a trailer or hauler with EASY TO INSTALL/EASY TO ACCESS Tie Down Brackets. Designed to bolt onto your CalTracs Mounts and LEAVE ON without affecting performance. Can be used in different configurations, depending on your needs.

NOTE: Does not include straps.

    SQUARE U-BOLTS (spring OVER axle): We recommend torqueing truck/square u-bolts to 90-100 foot lbs. After running the vehicle down the track a few times, we also recommending checking the u-bolts and readjusting if necessary. Please see CalTracs Installation Guide for more info.

    3.5″ axle diameter x 9″ long, axle ABOVE springs

    Round U-bolts, Grade 5 steel, rust resistant coating, 1/2″ diameter, Sets include 4 U-bolts, with nuts and washers.

    NOTE: While you can use your vehicle’s stock ubolts with CalTracs, Calvert Racing’s 1/2″ diameter u-bolts is an upgrade as most stock applications come with  7/16″ diameter u-bolts. We recommend torqueing the u-bolts to 65-70 foot lbs. After running the vehicle down the track a few times, we also recommending checking the u-bolts and readjusting if necessary.
