Calvert Racing’s square u-bolts are 9/16″ ” diameter. We recommend torqueing truck/square u-bolts to 90-100 foot lbs. NOTE: While you can use your vehicle’s stock ubolts with CalTracs, Calvert Racing’s 1/2″ diameter u-bolts is an upgrade as most stock applications come with 7/16″ diameter u-bolts. We recommend torqueing the u-bolts to 65-70 foot lbs. After running the vehicle down the track a few times, we also recommending checking the u-bolts and readjusting if necessary. BALLAST BOX (BB1000)
Portable Ballast Box allows you to add up to 100 pounds of extra weight where you need it in your race vehicle.
Calvert Racing ballast weight boxes are made from 11 gauge steel and are TIG welded at the seams. These boxes will hold 100+ lbs. of shot/ballast under its lid, held in place by (4) grade 8 locking flanges. 10″ x 8.5″ x 10″ outside dimensions. Boxes are shipped raw and ready for you to add coating of your choice.

Calvert Racing Universal Shackle and Bushing set for vehicles with 1″ Bushing/with Calvert Racing Split Mono Leafsprings

This kit includes 1 pair of shackles and a total of 8 polyurethane bushings, 4 for the rear of the spring and 4 for the upper frame above the shackle. These shackles feature a 9/16″ shouldered bolt that necks down to a 3/8″ thread, with the required nuts included.

INCLUDES 3/8″ CENTER PIN AND BOLTS TO FIT ONTO CALVERT RACING 2-1/2″ WIDE SPLIT MONO LEAFSPRINGS. Hole prevents possible slippage on more extreme angle. If you have a multi-springpack, you may need longer bolts.
