3.5″ Axle Perch/pair (HDP-350)
SPRING PERCHES FOR 3.5″ AXLE TUBE
Set of (2) Two Perches. Fully enclosed for added strength, pedestal tabs ensure heat penetration when welded to housing. Perch extends to center line of axle tube for more surface area. Precision laser cut. Requires welding to axle.
Check out the comparison graphic to see how Calvert’s patented Heavy Duty Perches compare to other manufacturer’s stock perches.
Patented HD Axle Perches. Universal design fits nearly every application. Available to fit the most common axle tube diameters; 2.25″, 2.5″, 2.75″, 3″, 3.25″ and 3.5″
WELDING ONTO AXLE: Pinion angle recommendation is -2 to -4 degrees when used with CalTracs. Split Mono Leafsprings/pair -1″ Drop (652-35)
1966-1971 Ford Fairlane
1968-1976 Ford Torino
-1″ DROP HEIGHT SPLIT MONO LEAFSPRINGS, PER PAIR
Tested on the fastest stock suspension cars in the world, Calvert’s Split Mono Leafsprings are designed to control and reduce excessive body separation in rear suspension and plants the rear tires without unloading.
All of Calvert Racing’s Split Mono Leafsprings are assembled to order with grade 8 hardware and heavy-duty alignment clamps. Aluminum bushings are pressed into the front spring eyes and polyurethane bushings in the rear spring eyes, these springs have been proven to withstand over 2,500 HP at ¼ mile ETs in the 6s.
NOTE: Calvert Racing Springs are designed for DRAG RACING and have a higher spring rate / stiffer ride than stock springs. Spring halves are dipped in black paint before assembly, but some raw steel may show due to deburring/grinding sharp edges.
Calvert Split Mono Leafsprings are designed to work with CalTracs to maintain arch. While street driving does not put undue stress on the springs, racing with Calvert springs without a traction device installed may result in bent or de-arched springs.
