CalTracs-MXCalTracs MX (6520-MX)
REQUIRES HANGERS. See Parts & Accessories
Built for:
1966-1967 Ford Fairlane
***
To get the most out of your CalTracs, we recommend that your installed CalTracs bars are close to parallel to the ground when fully loaded. Sometimes that configuration is difficult to achieve depending on the mods or equipment you have installed on your drag race car. CalTracs MX helps solve that!
***
Full CalTracs MX kits for cars feature our new MX 3-Hole Adjustable Rear Mounts, MX 4-Hole Adjustment Pivot Plates, and upgraded 9/16” bolt pivot hardware, these kits offer up to TWELVE adjustment settings (compared to two hole adjustable settings in Standard Drag Profile kits) to allow for fine tuning your CalTracs for the best HOOK possible on your racecar. Our new MX rear mount and MX pivot plate designs keep the overall CalTracs assembly set-up above the tire rim line on 15” wheels for track competition compliance and safety, just 1/2” longer than our Standard Drag Profile CalTracs.
EACH KIT ALSO INCLUDES a set of U-BOLTS for stock rear ends. If your vehicle has been modified, please call us so we can sent the correct size. 661-728-9600, M-F, 8am-4:30pm Pacific Time.
****
Designed by Race legend John Calvert. Bolt On traction system. Full pre-load adjustability, keeps axle from rotating/maintains pinion angle, improves 60′ times. Black powder coated for durability. Rod Ends/Heim Joints NOW COME WITH GREASE ZERK. Add a small amount of grease to minimize rattle.
Specializing in leaf spring traction systems since 1995, the Calvert Racing Team knows what it takes to get your car hooking harder than ever. Designed by racers for racers, CalTracs boasts unsurpassed quality and craftsmanship; the competition is eliminated right off the starting line. The preload link is made with Chromoly, lightweight but strong, ensuring maximum leverage and minimum flex. ¾” Rod Ends have a radial static load capacity of over 14,000 pounds. Two-piece aluminum front spring eye bushings assembly keeps the front pivot squared and rigid. The rear mounts are made with 5/16” mild steel to withstand the correct torque on your u-bolts, keeping the rear end from moving.
***Separate MX Mounts and Pivot Plates are available to upgrade your current CalTracs, call for details.
***
NOTE: MX Kits are not available for trucks. Your final product may vary from photo depending on your application. U-bolts NOT included in the kit but are available if desired.
