Parabolic Mono Leafsprings AUSTRALIA 1″ DROP (PS117-8)
2″ WIDE MONO PARABOLIC LEAFSPRINGS 1″ DROP
3-1/2″ table arch, 205 lb rate.
1969-1973 Australian Ford Capri
Alternative for aftermarket spring. Substantially lighter than multi-leafsprings.
Parabolic spring design distributes stress along the length of the spring, reducing stress on the arch. Each spring pair is arch verified. Center pins and bushings included.
CalTracs Solid Bushings included when ordered directly from Calvert Racing.
NOTE: These springs are designed for DRAG RACING and have a higher spring rate / stiffer ride than stock springs. Springs are dipped in black paint before assembly, but some raw steel may show due to deburring/grinding sharp edges.
Calvert Mono Leafsprings are designed to work with CalTracs to maintain arch. While street driving does not put undue stress on the springs, racing with Calvert springs without a traction device installed may result in bent or de-arched springs.

THIS SET REQUIRES AND INCLUDES SQUARE U-BOLTS.
SQUARE U-BOLTS (spring OVER axle): Calvert Racing’s square u-bolts are 9/16″ ” diameter. We recommend torqueing truck/square u-bolts to 90-100 foot lbs. After running the vehicle down the track a few times, we also recommending checking the u-bolts and readjusting if necessary. Please see FAQ page or CalTracs Installation Guide for more info.
