Round U-bolts, Grade 5 steel, rust resistant coating, 1/2″ diameter, Sets include 4 U-bolts, with nuts and washers.
NOTE: While you can use your vehicle’s stock ubolts with CalTracs, Calvert Racing’s 1/2″ diameter u-bolts is an upgrade as most stock applications come with 7/16″ diameter u-bolts. We recommend torqueing the u-bolts to 65-70 foot lbs. After running the vehicle down the track a few times, we also recommending checking the u-bolts and readjusting if necessary. NOTE: It is recommended that you begin using the hole that allows the traction bars to be most parallel to the ground when your vehicle is fully loaded, weight on tires. Adjust according to how your vehicle responds and your desired level of hook.
