The preload link is made with Chromoly, lightweight but strong, ensuring maximum leverage and minimum flex. HD Rod Ends have a radial static load capacity of over 14,000 pounds. Two-piece aluminum front spring eye bushings assembly keeps the front pivot squared and rigid. The rear mounts are made with 5/16” mild steel to withstand the correct torque on your u-bolts, keeping the rear end from moving.
This kit requires and INCLUDES a set of square u-bolts.
SQUARE U-BOLTS (spring OVER axle): Calvert Racing’s square u-bolts are 9/16″ ” diameter. We recommend torqueing truck/square u-bolts to 90-100 foot lbs. After running the vehicle down the track a few times, we also recommending checking the u-bolts and readjusting if necessary. Please see FAQ page or CalTracs Installation Guide for more info.

HD SPRING CLAMPS/set of 2 (SCH-15)
HEAVY DUTY CLAMPS FOR 2.5″ SPRING, 1.5″ deep
Heavy duty steel, zinc coated spring clamps designed for Calvert Racing’s Split Mono Leafsprings. Includes two clamps, 2 bolts, 2 limiting tubes, and rivets. Rivets are designed to be pressed into spring hole to secure.
These clamps require a chamfered 3/8″ hole be drilled into the leaf for the rivet to be inserted and pressed to secure. NOTE: Back of spring , drill/chamfer the bottom spring. For the front of the spring, drill/chamfer the top spring.
Be sure to measure your springs to make sure the clamps will fit.

Tested on the fastest stock suspension cars in the world, Calvert’s Split Mono Leafsprings are designed to control and reduce excessive body separation in rear suspension and plants the rear tires without unloading. Parabolic rear half design distributes the main spring pressure point through the length of the half, reducing spring breakage.
All of Calvert Racing’s Split Mono Leafsprings are assembled to order with grade 8 hardware and heavy-duty alignment clamps. Aluminum bushings are pressed into the front spring eyes and polyurethane bushings in the rear spring eyes, these springs have been proven to withstand over 2,500 HP at ¼ mile ETs in the 6s.
NOTE: Calvert Racing Springs are designed for DRAG RACING and have a higher spring rate / stiffer ride than stock springs. Spring halves are dipped in black paint before assembly, but some raw steel may show due to deburring/grinding sharp edges.
Calvert Split Mono Leafsprings are designed to work with CalTracs to maintain arch. While street driving does not put undue stress on the springs, racing with Calvert springs without a traction device installed may result in bent or de-arched springs.

Designed to work directly with CalTracs. These hangers replace the original front hangar plates.
These front hangars are intended for use when aftermarket lowering hangars used to lower the truck will not allow the use of CalTracs on the spring. This product will lower the truck 2″ like most aftermarket hangars, but are designed to work directly with our CalTrac bar kits.
Includes (2) two hangers and required hardware.
NOTE: These will not fit long bed models or 454SS. without modification

HANGER/SHACKLE KIT (H64K)

Designed to work directly with CalTracs. These hangers replace the original front hangar plates. Includes Hangers and Rear Shackles and is required when equipping your vehicle with CalTracs and Calvert Springs.
Kit includes set of two Hangers and two Shackles. Also includes two grade 8 spring eye bolts/nuts, six bolts that mount the hangars to the chassis, six J-clips.
